More about Dan
Do you have any other interests outside of camping and 4-wheel driving?
Even though it’s my job, I love teaching primary school kids, so is it really work? I like to work on my Mazda MX5 and race it when I get the chance, particularly hill climbs.
I like to cook, swim, water ski, play tennis and being with people.
Who do you look up to?
Both my parents. I was a crazy kid growing up, getting into trouble, hurting myself and getting up to mischief. I hope I have as much patience for my own kids as my parents did for me.
If you could travel anywhere in Australia where would you go? And why?
Any of the water holes in the Northern Territory, they look awesome!
What motivates you each and every day?
Just life in general. I love what I do for a living, I am thankful for and appreciate the friends and family I have, as well as the people I know and are getting to know. I really am very lucky and fortunate to have all the opportunities in front of me.
What do you want to accomplish in your lifetime? Goals?
I would love to travel Australia and create a unique camping community. Being a racing driver would also be pretty cool.
What do you use your North Storm gear for?
Storing gear on the roof racks of the 4WD when we go on camping trips which allows us to free up that little bit of extra space in the boot for other gear. Our 4-man tent easily fits inside the 60L duffel bag with plenty room to spare. Plus, it keeps it bone dry if we encounter rain en-route to camp.
